My skin is having an unexpected reaction from using your products. What should I do?Updated 2 years ago

This is not uncommon and can be attributed to skin purging. The term 'skin purging' refers to a reaction to an active ingredient that is increasing skin cell turnover rate. As skin cell turnover speeds up, the skin starts shedding dead skin cells faster than normal. As the surface layer of skin is shed more quickly, the skin is expediting its recovery and pushing everything to the surface. The end goal is to expose the fresh skin cells underneath and reveal clearer, younger-looking skin. Before these new, healthy cells can cycle to the surface, some other stuff has to rise to the top first, like the excess sebum, flakes, and buildup that clog pores. Don’t worry, this phase usually don’t last longer than a few days or weeks.

Some of our customers experience breakouts shortly after incorporating our products to their routine. Most of the time, this is a normal reaction from your skin accommodating to it. We recommend reducing the amount of products you use to allow your skin to ease into the new routine. Please stop using our products immediately if you've had any other types of unexpected reactions.
